Terms & Conditions

1. Honda are donating £50 sports and equipment vouchers (“Vouchers”) to Rugby Union clubs throughout the United Kingdom (“Clubs”) for every qualifying test drive of any new Honda car booked and taken through an Authorised Honda Dealer (“Test Drive(s)”).

2. THE VOUCHERS

2.1. Vouchers are for the purchase of Umbro, Gilbert or Honda products. Clubs will be able to select which Voucher type they wish to receive when Vouchers are despatched. Clubs must select Vouchers of a single type. Voucher types cannot be mixed.

2.2. The number of vouchers a Club receives is dependent upon test-drivers nominating a specific Club as the recipient. There is no guarantee that by registering a Club will receive any vouchers.

2.3. Vouchers are redeemable through the respective manufacturers website, and will be valid for a minimum of 12 months as of the date of despatch. The Promoter accepts no liability for third parties’ acceptance, fulfilment or refusal of any Voucher(s), or the range of products that third parties may offer in exchange for the Vouchers.

2.4. Voucher specification may be subject to change. In the event that the Promoter cannot provide the requested voucher, the replacement vouchers shall be of equal or higher value. There is no cash alternative. Vouchers are not negotiable or transferable. Vouchers may be used in part payment for items, but no change will be given in the event that the value of Vouchers exceeds the cost of selected items.

3. TEST DRIVES

3.1. Test Drives must be booked and taken through a Honda Authorised Dealer (“Dealer”). Test drives must be booked in advance, are booked at the Dealer’s discretion, and shall be subject to each individual Dealer’s test drive terms and conditions.

3.2. The driver must mention the Honda Rugby Test Drive promotion when booking the Test Drive. Before the Test Drive commences each test-driver will need to complete a registration form on which they can nominate the Club that they would like an equipment voucher to go to. The nominated Club cannot be changed after the driver’s registration form has been submitted.

3.3. There will be a limit of fifty (50) qualifying Test Drives available at each Dealer, and each individual driver may only take 1 (one) qualifying Test Drive. The Test Drive must be completed to qualify for the Promotion.

3.4. Test Drives must be taken and completed between 1st April 2023 and 30th June 2023 (the “Closing Date”). Test Drives taken after the Closing Date shall not qualify for the Promotion.

3.5. Test Drives are subject to availability. The Promoter cannot guarantee the availability of Test Drives at the Club or driver’s nearest Dealer.

3.6. The Promoter will not accept responsibility for test drives for which it has not been notified, regardless of cause including, for example, as a result of any postal or delivery service failure, equipment failure, technical malfunction, or systems, satellite, network, server, computer hardware or software failure of any kind. The Promoter reserves the right in its sole discretion to decide whether a test drive qualifies for the Promotion.

4. CLUB ELIGIBILITY

4.1. Clubs must register with the Promotion to be eligible to be nominated by test-drivers to receive the Vouchers. Clubs may register after the Promotion commences at any time up until the Closing Date.

4.2. By registering with the Promotion, the Clubs name will appear on the list of eligible Clubs and may be selected by test-drivers as the nominated recipient of a Voucher.

4.3. Clubs can only register once. Multiple registrations in respect of a Club’s various teams are not permitted. The Promoter may amalgamate registrations received from the same club.

4.4. Clubs that no longer wish to be part of The Honda Rugby Test Drive Promotion can request removal by emailing consentuk@honda-eu.com

4.5. The Promoter reserves the right to exclude Clubs, or refuse registration of Clubs, or not to award vouchers, for any reason at its sole discretion.

5. VOUCHER DISTRIBUTION

5.1. Vouchers will be distributed during September 2023. Vouchers will be sent to a nominated representative of the Club at its official published address.

5.2. If the Club has been nominated as the recipient, Clubs will receive £50 in vouchers for each Test Drive taken as part of the Honda Rugby Test Drive Promotion.

5.3. In the event that a Club has been nominated as the recipient of Vouchers but declines to accept them, or the Promoter decides at its discretion not to award Vouchers to a nominated recipient, such Vouchers shall be donated to a charitable organisation of the Promoter’s choosing that supports community sports development.

6. DATA PROTECTION

6.1. The Promoter will only process personal information as set out in the Honda privacy notice (“Honda Privacy Notice”).

6.2. The Honda Privacy Notice sets out in in full the ways in which the Promoter processes your personal data when you participate in the Promotion. The Honda Privacy Notice also describes your data protection rights in relation to the processing activities described in this Clause 6, and how long we will retain your data. 6.3. The Promoter will collect the following personal data: title, first name, last name, email address, telephone number and position held within the Club. The Promoter will process this personal data in order to run the Promotion, including the despatch of Vouchers.

6.4. By registering for the Honda Rugby Test Drive Promotion you, on behalf of the Club, agree to receive communications relating to the Promotion. Honda will not contact you or the Club with unrelated marketing material unless you have separately opted-in to receive such messages.

7. GENERAL

7.1. By either registering with the Promotion, or accepting the Vouchers, Clubs confirm that they are eligible to take part in the Promotion and agree to be bound by these terms and conditions.

7.2. Representatives of the Club either accepting these Terms and Conditions on behalf the Club, or named as an identified recipient of the Vouchers, must be 18 or over as of 1st April 2023.

7.3. The decision of the Promoter is final, and no correspondence will be entered into.

7.4. Whilst the Promotion may be publicised on social media platforms, Instagram, Facebook and Twitter are not associated with the Promotion and do not receive any personal data from the Promotion or Honda.

7.5. The Promoter is entitled to terminate or modify the published terms and conditions at any time, and reserves the right to hold void, suspend, cancel, or amend the Promotion if, in the Promoter’s opinion, it becomes necessary to do so.

7.6. These terms and conditions shall be governed by the laws of English and Wales, and the parties submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
